Indications: Suitable for the treatment of anxiety disorders or for the short-term treatment of anxiety symptoms and anxiety related to depression symptoms. Anxiety or tension related to the stress of daily life usually does not require treatment with anti-anxiety drugs. The effect of long-term use of lorazepam, that is, the effect of application for more than 4 months, has not been evaluated by systematic clinical studies. Physicians should periodically reassess the effectiveness of the drug for individual patients.

Usage and dosage: Oral medication. In order to achieve the best effect, the dosage, frequency and duration of treatment should be individually adjusted according to the patient's response. During the convenient period, 0.5mg, 1.0mg and 2.0mg tablets are available. The conventional dosage range is 2 to 6 mg per day, taken in divided doses. The maximum dosage is given before going to bed. The daily dosage can be adjusted from 1 to 10 mg. For anxiety symptoms, the initial dose for most patients is 2 to 3 mg per day, twice or three times a day. For patients with insomnia caused by anxiety or temporary situational stress, the daily dose is 2 to 4 mg orally, usually before going to bed. For elderly patients or frail patients, the recommended initial dose is 1-2 mg/day, taken in divided doses. The dosage can be adjusted according to needs and patient tolerance. The dose of lorazepam should be gradually increased when necessary and not adjusted suddenly to avoid adverse reactions. When the dose of lorazepam needs to be increased, the dose in the evening should be increased first before increasing the dose during the day. It is recommended that patients consult a physician before increasing the dose or stopping the drug suddenly.
