Usage and dosage: Oral, should start from a low dose and gradually increase, and pay attention to the clinical response and tolerability. If drowsiness occurs, take most of the daily dose before going to bed or reduce the dose. Under normal circumstances, this product is recommended to be taken after meals. Symptoms are relieved within the first week of treatment, and the desired antidepressant effect will be achieved within two weeks. 25% of patients need two to four weeks to achieve the desired therapeutic effect. The recommended dose for adults is 25mg~50mg for the first time, taken before going to bed. Starting from the next day, 100mg~150mg per day will be taken in divided doses. The daily dose can be increased by 50mg every three to four days. For outpatients, the maximum dose should not exceed 400 mg per day, taken in divided doses. Inpatients (ie, patients with more severe depression) daily dose can be as high as but not more than 600mg, taken in divided doses. Maintenance dose: For longer maintenance treatment, the dose should be kept at the lowest effective level. Once a sufficient effect is achieved, the dosage is then gradually reduced according to the therapeutic effect. It is generally recommended that treatment with antidepressants should continue for several months.
